眼前突然一片漆黑，格拉斯捏着手里的纸钞顿住了。
GlassWhat's its denomination?
Glass（它的面额是多少来着？）
卢锡安踩着椅子把应急灯拆了下来。
"Here."

GlassThank you, buddy.
"What happened?"
科林向外看了看，外面除了商店里的应急灯几乎全是黑的，惊叹了一声，开了个玩笑。
ColinIs there a power failure in the whole city?
Colin（整座城市都停电了吗？）
杰西卡放下座机电话，耸了耸肩。
"Yeah."
GlassGee.
快速给剩下的客人结好账，杰西卡和卢锡安也结伴回家了，餐厅里只剩下科林和收尾的格拉斯。

Glass（你还不走吗？）

把一切收拾好，格拉斯往家里打了个电话，没有人接。
于是他又把电话拨到了莫妮卡家里。

Monica（他刚刚才打电话过来）

格拉斯笑笑。

啪的一声放下听筒，拿起外套边往身上套边往外走。

Glass（帮我锁门，谢谢）

格拉斯几乎摸黑找到一家甜品店，敲了敲厚重的玻璃门。
"The power has been cut off, sir."

店主撇撇嘴放他进来。

GlassDo you have any finished cakes?
Glass（有成品蛋糕吗？）
"No, only a eight inchi cake blank."
（只有一个八英寸的蛋糕坯。）

格拉斯并不经常去银行——可以说基本上就看见过一眼——他拐错了两个路口，问了无数次路人，还被人半道截住揍了一顿…好在没打脸。
等他到的时候…

Glass（这真是天堂，纽约的晚上可不是好混的）
格拉斯一只手揉了揉被踢的地方，疼得呲牙咧嘴。

Glass（但愿等会儿和钱德勒说话的时候不会吐血）

检查了一下身上看起来没什么异常，格拉斯上前几步拍了拍玻璃门。
努力和吉尔·古达克保持距离的钱德勒转过头，看见格拉斯正隔着玻璃朝他招手。
ChandlerOh my God,
Chandleryou came to me specifically?
Chandler（你是特地来找我的？）
GlassOtherwise?
Glass（不然呢？）
格拉斯放下手里的蛋糕盒，从口袋里掏出了一条横幅一样的东西，还有蜡烛和打火机。
ChandlerWow, what's the big day?
Chandler（今天是什么日子？）
格拉斯快速地朝吉尔友好一笑，接着，眼里就再也容不下其他了。
他笑着看着钱德勒，横幅举过头顶展开。
GlassHappy Blackout Day!
Glass（停电日快乐！）
钱德勒看着他把横幅好好摆在一边，看着他打开蛋糕盒，看着他插上蜡烛点燃…
极快地眨了眨眼，他听见格拉斯说：
GlassWe can't eat it until the door's opened and we get home.
Glass（现在不能吃，只能等出来回家了）
钱德勒随着他坐下来，看着他好像有些沾了灰的脸，轻轻开口。
ChandlerY'know what?
ChandlerI definitely saved the world in my last life.
Chandler（我上辈子绝对是拯救了世界）
格拉斯没听清，凑近了些，脸已经贴到了玻璃上。
GlassWhat?
钱德勒咧开嘴笑了，往前凑到格拉斯隔着玻璃的那只耳朵前。
ChandlerYou're the banner, cake and candles of my blackout night.
Chandler（你是我停电之夜的横幅、蛋糕和蜡烛。）

Chandler（重见光明的感觉真不错！）
吉尔打个招呼先离开了，格拉斯盖上蛋糕盒的盖子，正收拾着东西打算和钱德勒回去。
钱德勒拉开玻璃门，低头看了他两秒，然后蹲了下来。
ChandlerHey, the street lights are on, right?
Chandler（路灯都亮了对吗？）
格拉斯抬起头，看着钱德勒的笑容也不由自主勾起嘴角。
GlassYeah...
Glass（是啊...）
ChandlerSo, um...
ChandlerCould I...
GlassYeah.
格拉斯主动凑过来，钱德勒一只手扣住他的后脑，两个人的距离慢慢拉近...
