分数、百分数、小数的表达方式

佟瑞灵1、分数 ：分数在英语中,通常用基数词和序数词来共同表达。其结构为:分子用基数词，分母用序数词;分子是1，分母用单数;分子大于1,分母用复数.

秋涵瑶分母用序数词：分母是2和4时,用half和quarter 代替

eg.1/5 one fifth;1/4 one fourth 或a/one quarter ;

秋涵瑶a:分子是1时,可以用a

2/3 two thirds ;3/4 three fourths 或 three quarters;

1/2 a /one half;2/5 two fifths;

秋涵瑶拓展：如果分数大于1,要用"整数部分+and+分数"来表示。

佟瑞灵2、百分数 百分数用"基数词+percent”表示，percent无复数形式.

eg.5% five percent; 20% twenty percent

秋涵瑶注意: 由"分数(或百分数)+of+名词"构成的名词词组作主语时,谓语动词的单复数由of后面的名词类别而定。

eg. Over sixty percent of the doctors are women.超过60%的医生是女性。

Three fourths of the students in my class are interested in English.我们班有四分之三的学生对英语感兴趣。

Two thirds of the water on the earth is sea water.地球上三分之二的水是海水。

佟瑞灵3、小数 小数用基数词来表示，小数点读作point.

eg. 5.6 five point six; 0.7 zero point seven;

7.83 seven point eight three
