Chapter One

My name……is Cassius. For all this time, I've been living in this dark little basement. They say I'm the son of damnation. I don't actually know what that means, but……yeah, I think that's definitely not a good thing.

This is my twin sister, Classilou. Unlike me, she is a light-hearted girl of 13. People call her the son of benediction. My parents told every neighbor about their beloved only daughter, Classilou. Yet they told them her name was Cassius-that girl, she took my place, and also took everything that should belong to me.

So the real "Cassius" never existed. Her name was Classilou, she died a few years ago in a car crash. Haha, that's my story-or I'd rather call that my parents' story. I'm alive, and my name is not really Classilou. They made this story up, just to decieve the neighbors.

Sometimes I felt jealous of my sister-why does she deserve all this happiness, while I shall be dead, forgotten by everyone?

So I never went to school. You see, now I'm crammed in a filthy basement, treated like vermin. But I lived. Life will always go on. Even if you hate it.

I shall tell you about my parents now. Father is the headmaster of Pixie Junior Middle School. Classilou studies there. Mother is a housewife. They shouldn't be my parents-they never showed even a trace of love for me.
