幕启·二十九

接下去的一段时间，老维克没有人理梁皖妮。

梁皖妮突然闲了下来。可她不想真的闲了。她每天在房间里，翻翻剧本，背背绕口令，一个人自导自演一会。

过了一个星期，她没有和任何人说，一个人去看歌剧版《天鹅湖》的彩排。

那天上午，没有任何演出。演员们在正式的舞台上穿着日常的衣服排练着。下面的观众席上，只有第一排中间坐着几个人，显得空荡荡的。

虽说是歌剧，但是相关的演唱部分还没有创作出来。歌剧的独白部分本就不多，梁皖妮看了一部分，只能通过芭蕾舞剧的相关内容来进行脑补。空白的歌唱部分，他们正在确定走位。

梁皖妮从观众席的后门走了进去，选了后面几排的一个座位。演员和坐在第一排的几个人，都没有发现他来了。

梁皖妮看见简站在台上非常显眼的位置。她的确很适合黑天鹅。即使不是舞台上的王子，也很容易被她迷得神魂颠倒。

但是饰演白天鹅，她就少了点纯真和优雅。

梁皖妮认出，坐在第一排最中间的，是加文。他似乎正和旁边一个人窃窃私语，旁边的人好像摇了摇头。

加文和那个人打断了彩排，走到了台上。

加文说：“I'm sorry, Miss Stephens. Mr Williams is not very satisfied with today's rehearsal.”

简不服气地叫起来：“What? I think I'm better today than yesterday. I've been acting as you say.”

威廉姆斯先生走上前几步，说：“Yes, Miss Stephens, you have made progress. However, your progress is not obvious, and it is difficult to achieve the effect we want to see in a short time. At this pace, it will take several months for the opera to be staged. How should Old Vic spend these months?”

简暴跳如雷：“How do you know I can't meet your requirements in a short time? How do you know that in a few months old Vic can't make a comeback with this opera?”

威廉姆斯先生依然很平静：“Miss Stephens, I believe you have great potential. But what I want to say is that you are really not suitable to play the white swan. In the part about the White Swan, you not only haven't made progress, but even regress.”
