Dear Everyone

I am Pale Rosier,the subeditor of «Daily Prophet».At the same time,I am also from Hogwarts,the Slytherin House. I've known that some Muggle-borns,who don't understand our world at all, have belittled other House and overstated the Slytherin.

As a pure-blood Wizard,I am so proud of it,especially after the war.But,when I have mastered all the situation,I just want to laugh.

Kindly reminding:I think you'd better to purchase a book named «Hogwarts A History» in the library,since you have admitted into Hogwarts.（If you do not,why you read it?）It records many details of Hogwarts.I am not willing to repeat these details in this letter because it's waste of my time.

Now,there are still some basic information for you to know.

Firstly,although we take pride in our House,we never belittle other House in public（sometimes the Gryffondor is an exception).

Secondly,Have you known our House's training or synonym?To be honest,we never bundle ourselves with grace.

Of course,I am a pure blood,so I have learned the aristocratic etiquette well so that I can show Rosier's polite.

And then let me tell you what the Slytherin training talk about.

We come from the mire.

We are full of ambition.

We desire for power.

Our strong calm.

We refined control.

We never regret.

We are Slytherin.

Reading it,carefully,and full of respect.

Ambition,greatness,power,these are exactly what we have.So many people regard us as bad wizards.

Are we？I can't jump rashly to the conclusion.The only conclusion I can obtain is that we are just more likely to be but not for sure.No one can be judged simply as good or bad.And we hardly show our kind easily to others unless they are our true friend.But if you overstate our House just with this,for example my professior,the heir of Sltherin,Severus Snape,I think you'd rather come to St.Mungo's Hospital for Magic Maladies and Injuries（Bloody hell,it's too long）.Anyway,What I want to emphasize is that every House in Hogwarts is great.

Students from Hufflepuff are more likely warm-hearted and loyal,like Cedric Diggory.

Students from Rawenclaw are more likely wise and independent,like Luna Lovegood.

Students from Gryffindow are more likely brave and frank,like Harry Potter,Hermione Granger,the Weasleys and so on.

So treat every House equally,because they are just Houses, simples of Hogwarts.A good wizard can be from Slytherin and a bad wizard can be from Gryffindor.

As our headmaster,Professior Dumbledore said,What decide who we are is our choice.

赫奇帕奇的学生更偏向于温暖而忠诚，比如塞德里克·迪戈里。

拉文克劳的学生更偏向于聪慧而独立，比如卢娜·洛夫古德。

格兰芬多的学生更偏向于勇敢而直率，比如哈利·波特，赫敏·格兰杰，许多韦斯莱等等。

所以请平等地对待每一个学院，因为他们只是学院，只是霍格沃茨的标志。一个好巫师可以来自斯莱特林，一个坏巫师也可以来自格兰芬多。

就像我们的校长，邓布利多教授曾说：真正决定我们的是我们的选择。
