Within the hallowed halls where muses tread,

在缪斯漫步的圣洁回廊之中，

A scion painted dreams with gifted hand.

一位继承人以妙手描绘梦的影踪。

False praise, a gilded cage around him spread,

虚伪的谄媚，如镀金的牢笼将他围拢，

While truth wore masks throughout the gilded land.

One soul alone seemed pure, a trusted guide,

Whose wisdom fed the young aristocrat.

A cherished mentor walking by his side,

The sole true friend amidst the hollow chat.

But shadows fell when mercenary schemes

Were glimpsed behind the mask of kind regard.

A trembling hand mixed poison in extremes,

颤抖的手在杯中混入剧毒的烈酒，

To serve the fate within that crimson yard.

The artist’s grip then claimed a darker tool:

His brush drank deep the vermilion hue of blood.

The canvas drank his soul, both bright and cruel,

画布痛饮他的灵魂，既璀璨又暴戾，

Where mentor stood, a masterpiece now stood.
