“D’you reckon we really oughta fetch Daniel out?” Yacinthin dropped her voice, ducking her head another few inches.
“当然，不过先给他个惊喜。”法斯克笑了笑，不好意思。
“’Course—though let’s give him a bit of a surprise first.” Fasker grinned, looking a touch sheepish.
“我有一个想法。”伊芙林神秘开口。
“I’ve got an idea.” Evelyn said, sounding mighty mysterious.
法斯克看了看伊芙林雪白的长袍，和被放的来的、雅佳思林紧紧攥在一块连上了一把“假刀”。“用这个！”
Fasker glanced at Evelyn’s snowy robes, then at the “faux knife” Yacinthin was clutching so tight their hands were stuck together. “Use this!”
“那怎么出去？”
“Then how d’we get out?”
“门肯定不行。”伊芙林摸了摸下巴思考道：“走窗户！”
“Door’s definitely out of the question.” Evelyn stroked her chin, thinking. “The window!”

“Brilliant!” Yacinthin
三人一拍即合，翻出墙进了艾博庄园。
The three of ’em hit it off straightaway—climbed out the window and into Abbot Manor.
庄园的围墙是用绿柏和铁刺弄制成的，三米多高，而且上面有尖刺，大门锁上了铁锁。
The manor’s walls were made of cypress and iron spikes—over three metres high, and the gate’s locked up tight with an iron padlock.
伊芙林看了看围墙，又看了看法斯克，此时无声胜有声。
Evelyn looked at the wall, then at Fasker—sometimes silence says more than words, y’know?
“翻过去试试。”雅佳思林走到围墙边准备善功出去。
“Let’s try climbin’ over.” Yacinthin stepped up to the wall, ready to hoist herself over.
“不行，太危险了。”伊芙林拉住了雅佳思林。
“Nah, it’s too dangerous.” Evelyn hauled Yacinthin back.
“可这是个好主意。”法斯克跃跃欲试。
“Still a grand idea, though.” Fasker was raring to go.
“那你翻过去。”伊芙林拿出魔杖牵着雅佳思林的手用幻影移形出去了。
“Then you climb over.” Evelyn pulled out her wand, grabbed Yacinthin’s hand, and Disapparated.
她们看着站在外面的法斯克，雅思林幸灾乐祸。
They watched Fasker stood out there—Yacinthin was positively cackling at his misfortune.
“切。”法斯克三步并作两步想爬上围墙，结果被挂在铁尖勾上。“help me！”
“Pfft.” Fasker took three steps at once to clamber up the wall—ended up caught on a spike. “Help me!”
“你自己不幸吧，被发现不算我们的事。”伊芙林丢下这句话就和雅思林走了。
“Your own bad luck—if you get caught, it’s not our mess.” Evelyn dropped that line and scarpered off with Yacinthin.
……
伊芙林和雅思林从一楼的窗户翻进了艾博庄园，她们虽然之前来过，但半夜第一次闯进来还是很足。
Evelyn and Yacinthin climbed back into Abbot Manor through a ground-floor window—they’d been here before, but sneakin’ in at midnight was a right thrill.
伊芙林踮起了脚，悄悄往楼上走，雅佳思林跟在后面，她们惊奇的发现窗户没关，他们可以翻窗户到丹尼尔卧室。
Evelyn tiptoed up the stairs, Yacinthin right behind—they were chuffed to see the window was open; they could climb straight into Daniel’s bedroom.
她们还没靠近窗户，就看见墙壁上有一个巨大的影子，张牙舞爪，她们本能的想后退，结果窗外不知是谁叫了一声，伊芙林和雅思林尖叫着跌进了一旁的房间。
Before they even got close to the window, they spotted a massive shadow on the wall—all claws and fangs. They tried to back away, but someone outside yelled, and Evelyn and Yacinthin screamed, tumbling into a room nearby.
她们还没喘几口气，就发现这个房间很熟悉。
They hadn’t even caught their breath when they realised the room looked right familiar.
“丹尼尔”雅思林惊呼出声。
“Daniel!” Yacinthin yelped.
伊芙林赶紧捂住了她的嘴，压低声音：“被发现就完了！”
Evelyn clapped a hand over her mouth, hissing: “If we’re caught, we’re done for!”
“你说法斯克怎么还不来。”雅思林
“Where d’you reckon Fasker is?” Yacinthin
“不知道。”伊芙林小心翼翼的走到床边，盯着丹尼尔看（睡得跟死尸一样）。
“No clue.” Evelyn crept over to the bed, staring at Daniel (he was out cold, like a corpse).
伊芙林一转头，雅思林不见了。
Evelyn turned round—Yacinthin was gone.
雅思林趴在地上一点点挪动，伊芙林扒拉趴在地上的雅思林对视了一眼，伊芙林无语住了：“你干什么，发什么疯！”
Yacinthin was on the floor, inching along like a worm. Evelyn prodded her, and they locked eyes—Evelyn was proper fed up. “What’re you playin’ at? Have you gone mad?”
“我这叫谨慎！”雅思林反驳。
“It’s called bein’ cautious!” Yacinthin shot back.
“你们在干什么。”丹尼尔不知何时待在床边。
“What’re you two up to?” Daniel was by the bed before they knew it.
伊芙林和雅思林因为突然冒出的声音被吓了一大跳，伊芙林本能的一巴掌过去给丹尼尔扇“失明”了。
Evelyn and Yacinthin jumped out of their skins at the sudden voice—Evelyn’s first instinct was to slap Daniel, and now he’s proper blinded.
“怎么办。”等伊芙林看清楚后，一脸担忧。
“Now what?” Once Evelyn saw who it was, she looked right worried.
“先放床上。”雅思林提议。
“Get ’im on the bed first.” Yacinthin suggested.
她们好不容易把人抬上床，就看见一个浑身乱糟糟、月脏兮兮，身上还有泥和树枝的怪物从窗户爬进来。
They’d barely heaved him onto the bed when a mucky, tangled mess of a thing—covered in mud and twigs—climbed through the window.
“啊啊！”雅思林尖叫一声，伊芙林则疯狂摇着丹尼尔祈祷摇晕他，醒醒醒醒。
“AAH!” Yacinthin shrieked; Evelyn shook Daniel like a ragdoll, praying to rouse him. “Wake up, wake up!”
“是我！法斯克！”
“It’s me! Fasker!”
房间陷入了沉默……
The room went dead quiet…
“你是怎么进来的。”伊芙林拔掉了法斯克身上的一根刺。
“How’d you get in?” Evelyn plucked a spike out of Fasker.
法斯克视角
“喂！你们两个！别走啊！”法斯克望着消失在夜色的两人，又气又跳，又道：“看来我只能自立更生了。”
“Oi! You two—don’t bugger off!” Fasker watched the pair vanish into the dark, fuming and stamping. “Reckon I’ll just have to fend for meself, then.”
法斯克手脚并用，试图爬过那几米高的围墙，可接连摔下来几次，法斯克看着围墙越来越像个巨人。
Fasker clambered with hands and feet, tryin’ to scale that metre-high wall—but he kept tumblin’ off. The wall started lookin’ more like a giant by the minute.
“哎哟，我的屁股！”法斯克再一次的摔下来，“我就不信了！”
“Blimey, me arse!” Fasker hit the ground again. “I’ll not be beaten by this!”
法斯克一鼓作气又一个助跑，他艰难的爬到围墙上，又摔下来了。
Fasker took a run-up, gave it all he’d got, and hauled himself onto the wall—then fell off again.
他摔在草丛里，身上插满了树枝和叶子，活像一个野人酋长。
He landed in the grass, covered in twigs and leaves—looked like a right wild man chieftain.
“狗洞？”法斯克惊呼道：“感谢天感谢地，老天还是在意我的。”
“A dog hole?” Fasker yelped. “Thank Merlin—someone’s lookin’ out for me, eh?”
法斯克好不容易一路闯到丹尼尔房间外面，才刚走到楼梯口，月光照着他的影子，像一个浑身树枝、叶子的泥土怪。
Fasker finally fought his way to outside Daniel’s room—just got to the stairs, and the moonlight made his shadow look like a mud monster covered in twigs and leaves.
法斯克才刚爬上来，就听到了尖叫声，恍惚间好像看见了鬼，被吓得从窗户跌落，幸运的是，他摔在下面的花坛上。
Fasker’d barely clambered up when he heard a scream—swore he saw a ghost, got so scared he fell out the window. Lucky for him, he landed in the flower bed below.
（注：鬼指的是伊芙林，因为她穿着白色长袍睡袍，披着头发）
(Note: The “ghost” was just Evelyn—she was in a white nightgown with her hair down.)
法斯克又费了好长的时间，才顺着墙测上的浮图眶爬进丹尼尔房间，刚从窗户进去，就被当做小怪物。
Fasker took ages more to climb back into Daniel’s room via the wall’s drainpipe—just got through the window when they took him for a little monster.
法斯克吃痛的叫了一声被丹尼尔嫌吵打了一拳。“我是从狗洞进来的。”
Fasker yelped in pain—Daniel got annoyed at the noise and punched him. “I came through the dog hole.”
“噗！”雅思林和伊芙林笑出了声。
“Pfft!” Yacinthin and Evelyn burst out laughing.
丹尼尔则默默从拿出了自家狗狗用的项圈：“你戴上吧，法斯克，这很适合你。”
Daniel just pulled out his dog’s collar quiet-like. “Put this on, Fasker—suits you.”
“丹尼尔！”法斯克喊了一声，明显不服气：“你……你！”
“Daniel!” Fasker yelped, right indignant. “You… you!”
“伤害性不大，但侮辱性极强。”伊芙林笑道。
“More insult than injury, this is.” Evelyn snic克，这很适合你。”
Daniel just pulled out his dog’s collar quiet-like. “Put this on, Fasker—suits you.”
“丹尼尔！”法斯克喊了一声，明显不服气：“你……你！”
“Daniel!” Fasker yelped, right indignant. “You… you!”
“伤害性不大，但侮辱性极强。”伊芙林笑道。
“More insult than injury, this is.” Evelyn snickered.
“所以，你们为什么凌晨出现在我家。”丹尼尔道。
“So why’re you lot in me house at this hour?” Daniel said.
“呃…那个…你不是没睡吗？”雅佳思林支支吾吾了一会后突然理直气壮，她挺了挺脊梁骨。
“Er… well… you weren’t asleep anyway, were you?” Yacinthin fumbled for words, then suddenly got bold, puffing out her chest.
“也不看看我为什么没睡！”丹尼尔被气笑了。
“Have you even stopped to think why I’m awake?!” Daniel laughed, though he was proper cross.
