成年个体由数百条直径15-30厘米的肉质藤蔓交织成“假树干”结构，高度可达15-20米，藤蔓可模拟周围植物颜色，融入环境，伪装层下是暗红色肌质组织，布满肉眼可见的搏动血管，含汁液，有强度腐蚀性，可腐蚀普通金属

藤蔓末端可像触手般灵活摆动，最高移动速度达每秒4米，能喷出汁液对生物组织的腐蚀速度更快也可以捕捉1公里内的移动声响及生物电信号来判断猎物是否存活。

根系为数百条肉质根须，可像蛆虫般蠕动，使整个植株以每天0.5-1公里的速度缓慢移动，根须末端有吸盘，能附着在岩石或建筑物表面，支撑躯体在非土壤环境活动。

其能量完全依赖捕食生物后的能量转化：通过藤蔓喷射的汁液分解猎物的躯体，再由藤蔓吸收养分。

最显著的超自然能力是再生：若藤蔓被切断，断口处会在10分钟内长出新的分支，且被切断的藤蔓碎片，只要带有血管组织，会在24小时内发育成小型幼苗，初始长度1-2米，这使其难以被物理摧毁。

食性偏好恒温动物，尤爱人类，次选其他哺乳动物，如牛、马。捕猎时锁定猎物位置，优先用藤缠绕四肢与躯干，同时喷射少量汁液破坏猎物衣物或防护装备，待猎物完全丧失行动能力后，用大量藤蔓包裹躯体，持续分泌汁液直至彻底分解。每次进食后，植株会进入1-2天的活跃期：移动速度加快，感知范围扩大，主动向人类活动区域靠近。

独居。单一个体活动过的区域，3个月内会出现5-10株由肉体碎片发育成的幼苗，这些幼苗初期受母体意识团影响，会围绕母体形成半径1-2公里的狩猎区，后期随着自身意识团成熟，会逐渐扩散至新区域，最远可离母体10公里以上。

对昆虫、小型爬行动物等无兴趣，但会主动摧毁阻碍其移动的物体，因此常被观测到推倒森林边缘的农舍或公路护栏，为自身及幼苗开辟路径。

无固定繁殖期，只要持续获得足够养分，就会触发繁殖：当母体养分过载，其核心藤蔓会裂开，释放出数千颗孢子，呈灰绿色粉末，可随风飘散5-10公里，孢子落在湿润土壤或有机物丰富的地方会在48小时内萌发为幼苗。

幼苗从1米长至成年（15米）仅需1年，寿命无上限只要不被彻底摧毁，可无限增殖。

原生栖息地为亚马孙热带雨林，后来不断扩散，1993年首次被SIO记录，因当地发生“整村消失”事件：座120人的部落村庄被发现时仅余断壁残垣，地面覆盖大量藤蔓痕迹，无任何尸体残留。

截至现在，其活动范围已扩散至多个国家的雨林边缘与农业区，累计导致12个小型社区消失，17起公路旅行团集体失踪事件。目前已知最大的位于某国与雨林接壤的橡胶种植园，已形成半径5公里的死亡区域，SIO特遣部正实施焚烧行动：利用其怕高温的弱点——70℃以上环境会导致藤蔓蛋白质凝固

Adult individuals are formed by hundreds of vines with a diameter of 15 - 30 centimeters intertwined into a “false trunk” structure, reaching a height of 15 - 20 meters. The vines can mimic the color of surrounding plants to blend into the environment. Beneath the camouflage layer is dark - red muscular tissue, filled with visible pulsating blood vessels. The sap it contains is highly corrosive and can corrode ordinary metals.

The tips of the vines can sway flexibly like tentacles, with a maximum movement speed of 4 meters per second. They can spray sap, which corrodes biological tissues even faster, and can also detect moving sounds and bioelectrical signals within a 1 - kilometer radius to determine if the prey is alive.

The root system consists of hundreds of fleshy rootlets that can wriggle like grubs, allowing the entire plant to move slowly at a speed of 0.5 - 1 kilometer per day. The ends of the rootlets have suction cups that can attach to the surface of rocks or buildings, supporting the body to move in a non - soil environment.

Its energy completely depends on the energy conversion after preying on creatures: the sap sprayed by the vines decomposes the prey's body, and then the vines absorb the nutrients.

Its most prominent supernatural ability is regeneration: if a vine is cut off, new branches will grow at the cut within 10 minutes. Moreover, any vine fragment with vascular tissue will develop into a small seedling with an initial length of 1 - 2 meters within 24 hours, making it difficult to be physically destroyed.

It prefers to feed on warm - blooded animals, especially humans, and secondarily other mammals such as cows and horses. When hunting, it locks onto the prey's position, first using vines to entangle the limbs and torso, and at the same time sprays a small amount of sap to damage the prey's clothing or protective equipment. After the prey completely loses its ability to move

Numerous vines envelop the prey’s body, continuously secreting sap until it completely decomposes. After each feeding, the plant enters a 1–2 - day period of heightened activity: its movement speed increases, its sensing range expands, and it actively approaches human - inhabited areas.

It is solitary. In an area where a single individual has been active, 5–10 seedlings developed from flesh fragments will emerge within 3 months. Initially influenced by the mother plant’s consciousness cluster, these seedlings form a hunting zone with a 1–2 - kilometer radius around the mother plant. As their own consciousness clusters mature over time, they gradually spread to new areas, with some venturing more than 10 kilometers away from the mother plant.

It shows no interest in insects or small reptiles but actively destroys objects that obstruct its movement. Thus, it’s often observed knocking down farmhouses on the forest’s edge or road guardrails to clear paths for itself and its seedlings.

It has no fixed breeding season. As long as it continuously obtains sufficient nutrients, reproduction is triggered: when the mother plant’s nutrients overflow, its core vines split open, releasing thousands of gray - green powdery spores that can drift 5–10 kilometers with the wind. These spores germinate into seedlings within 48 hours if they land on moist soil or organic - rich areas.

A seedling takes only one year to grow from 1 meter to maturity (15 meters). It has no maximum lifespan and can proliferate indefinitely unless completely destroyed.

Its native habitat is the Amazon Rainforest. It has since spread steadily and was first documented by the SIO in 1993 following the “disappearance of an entire village” incident: a tribal village of 120 people was found in ruins, with extensive vine traces covering the ground and no corpse remains

As of now, its range of activity has spread to the edges of rainforests and agricultural areas in multiple countries, having caused the disappearance of 12 small communities and 17 cases of mass disappearances of road tour groups in total. The largest known instance is located in a rubber plantation bordering a rainforest in a certain country, where a dead zone with a radius of 5 kilometers has formed. The Task Force Department of the SIO is carrying out a burning operation, taking advantage of its vulnerability to high temperatures—temperatures above 70℃ cause the proteins in its vines to coagulate.
