I also tried to learn more about the local beliefs and folklore of the regions I had visited. The more I learned, the more I realized how many cultures around the world have stories about spirits of nature, guardians of the land, and creatures of shadow and chaos. It seemed that these legends were not just fantasy, but echoes of a deeper reality that most modern societies have forgotten.
The mountain sculpture, which I kept separate from the fused piece, also started to emit a subtle guidance, though its pull felt different – less urgent than the first piece, more patient and steady, like the slow growth of stone.
It seemed to be pointing towards a new direction, a new element. Water. I began to see images of rivers, lakes, and oceans in my meditations, and the sculpture’s guidance became stronger whenever I thought about places connected to water.
A new quest was forming, another journey into the unknown, this time to places where the power of the Lim Ling was connected to the element of water.
