As I held it, I felt the familiar warmth spread through my palms. And then, subtly, the carvings seemed to shift and rearrange themselves before my eyes, not physically移动，butan optical illusion, a trick of the light or my perception.

As they shifted, I felt a jolt, like a faint electrical current running through my body. And image flashed in my mind – a symbol, simple but powerful. It was a circle with a single line running through it, splitting it in half.

I quickly grabbed a pen and paper and sketched the symbol. It wasn’t among the carvings on the sculpture, but it felt connected somehow.

“Interesting,” he wrote back. “That symbol… it reminds me of a very ancient symbol representing balance and duality. Light and dark, spirit and matter, order and chaos.”
