Chapter 2

Angelica couldn't think, her body is telling her to fight for life, but her brain is telling her she couldn't stand for even a second if she fight with the villagers. She wanted to cry, she didn't want to die here. She was scared, for the first time she smelled death, it was the smell of fear.

Angelica shook her head, forcing herself to concentrate. She pulled Aliza into the water so she had to pull her back, she can die, but Aliza cannot die! She lifted her head, looking into Aliza eyes. Angelica's eyes were once again full of bravery. Seeing Angelica's change Aliza smiled, she knew her best friend wouldn't give up.

Angelica took out a ring from her pocket. Aliza quickly realized her plan. Aliza looked back, sawing that the villagers were ready for the next attack.

She told Angelica with her hands: "Quick, they are catching up." It was a secret code, which only she and Angelica know. Angelica nodded and threw the ring back.

The villagers stopped, raced against each other, trying to take the ring.

Yes, this was Angelica's plan. The villagers never saw the ring before, so if Angelica throw back the ring, probably there mind will go like: "A ring! It must be the Snow Ring. God bless me!"

Even though they will find out a few minutes later, but that's enough time for Angelica and Aliza to run.
