Logan sat on his bed with a frown as he

He didn't care too much about anything other than the fact that he wanted a sibling. lt would be nice to have an older sister to tease around with and tell scary ghost stories at night; to wake up to every morning and go on a date with someone that he cared deeply for. To share secrets with and feel safe in a home that he never knew he could call his own. To grow old together as best friends or maybe something more if Logan took things too far. Of course, he

always knew that his father would never allow him to have an intimate relationship. No matter how desperately he tried to convince himself otherwise. Logan would still remember the first time he met his older sister, she was ten years old. She had been visiting their town to buy some flowers for her parents from a farmer who lived nearby. Logan had been playing with her in the street when two men

came out of nowhere, shouting insults at her

before kicking her to the ground while trying to hit on her.The girls in town were quite
