第一幕·六十九

听到加文这么说，梁皖妮问：“What does Mrs Crilly think?”

“She resigned the day before yesterday.”加文回答。

“What? She resigned?”梁皖妮毫不知情。

“She retired early. She said she was too tired.”加文说。

“But why didn't she tell me?”梁皖妮奇怪。

“You have to ask her this question.”

“So... I don't have an agent now?”梁皖妮小声问。

“Right. You're free now. You can make your own decisions.”

可是梁皖妮却并不是很开心。她挺想有一个专业人员来给她提意见、和她共同讨论。

有人敲门了。进来的是简。

“Hello, Leung. I didn't expect to meet you here.”简假笑着。

“Hi.”梁皖妮只能和她打招呼。

“Well, Wonnie, Jane and I have something to talk about. You can go back.”

梁皖妮走了出去，简却并不急着和加文讨论什么事。

她抱着手臂站在门口，听着门外的各种声音。过了一会，她打开门，向外张望。

没看见梁皖妮，她关上了门，背靠在门上，继续抱着手臂，面对加文。

“You finally drove her away?”简问。

“When she finished recording the show, the contract had not expired.”加文道。

“If it wasn't for driving her away, I wouldn't be willing to give her this opportunity.”简不服气地说。

加文站起来，走到她身边，抚摸着她的手臂、头发：“You will have a better chance in the future.”

“Will my chances be better than hers?”简的眼睛直勾勾地盯着加文。

“Of course.”

“I'm sure you won't lie to me. Don't let me down.”简用手指在加文的嘴唇上划了一下。

加文感觉自己的嘴唇麻了。他从来没有看见简笑得那么销魂。

梁皖妮回了趟父母家。她把自己关在房间里，一遍遍地拨着电话。

阿曼达的电话始终接不通。

梁皖妮逐渐急躁了起来。没办法，她又试着打了莉迪娅的电话。

莉迪娅正在上课，也没有接听。
